Our Evening in Pictures (and some words!)

5 children playing in the sprinkler in the backyard.

Quinn...showing off his muscles in his muscle shirt, carrying the largest container of bubbles ever!

Ella...showing off her hiney. This is one of the things that she does best.

4 wasp stings on my back. The 5th is on my finger from when I tried to shoo him out from under my shirt. I don't know how he got in there. I swear, I was minding my own business.

6 sweet angels. My 3 kids and 3 out of the 4 Wylies. There was much screaming and squealing this morning when we announced that the Wylies were coming for a sleepover. When I relayed this to my mom she told me that the girls went on and on this past week about how much they love the Wylie kids. They told her, "They're not really our cousins, but we love them like they were our cousins. We're kind of like family."

And we are. And that's how we want our kids to be. They love each other and I hope it always stays that way. I can see that this is going to turn into a big gushy, sloppy mess of a post, so I'll spare you that. Just know, the Pendley and the Wylies? Yeah, we got each others' backs.
